Abstract：
在新课程改革的背景下,核心素养成为当前教育工作中的一个要点.在初中教育阶段,英语是必修课程之一,英语学科核心素养在学生的个性全面发展中占据着重要的位置.英语核心素养改变了过去以知识为本的教育理念,包括应用、情感、思维等多个方面,有利于学生英语综合水平的提升,促进其全面发展,但如何理解初中英语学科核心素养的内涵,并落实到具体的课堂教学中还是一个需要不断探究的问题.本文对初中英语学科核心素养的内涵进行阐述,在此基础上,探究核心素养下提升初中英语教学有效性的策略.
