    我国公共事业发展迅速,公共图书馆的数量不断增多,其作为一个非盈利场所,能够为广大市民提供阅读服务,从而使民众的参读需求得到有效满足,这对于提高城市公民的综合素养具有重要意义.不过,在公共图书馆的发展过程中仍旧存在一些问题有待解决,公共图书馆在读者服务方面急需拓展新的项目和功能.
