Abstract：
在初级阶段学习汉字对于非汉字圈的留学生来说是非常重要的。然而，与汉语教学的其他要素相比，汉字教学却相对薄弱。从教学的角度来看，缺乏系统性和计划性是汉字教学中一大特征。究其原因,不是汉语学界对汉字教学不重视,而是还没有寻找到合理的可实施的汉字教学模式。本文从汉字自身的特点出发，提出适合汉字教学的相关理论。汉字的表意性和理据性都表明对外汉字教学应从汉字的特点出发。本文结合当前对外汉字教学方法的不足，提出将“六书”造字理论运用于对外汉字教学中的教学方法。
