Abstract：
在新课程改革的背景下，初中英语教学目标发生了一些改革和变化。教师应根据时代的发展和变化，改革和创新教学方法，提高学生的核心素质，使学生适应社会的发展，跟上时代的步伐。因此，在初中英语教学中，教师要打破传统的教学模式，在教学过程中加强对学生核心素养的培养，明确核心素养培养的内涵，不能将核心素养的培养形式化。
