Abstract：
英语作业在日常教学中也发挥着巩固学生英语基础知识、提高英语学习能力等重要作用。教师以核心素养为导向，设计英语单元作业，既能让每个学生清楚地掌握自身在英语学习方面存在的优势以及弱项，又能通过完成教师布置的英语单元作业，不断强化个人综合能力。核心素养与初中英语单元作业设计相结合，同时也能促进教师作业设计能力提升，进而将核心素养在初中英语教学中精准落实。基于核心素养背景，如何合理设计初中英语单元整体作业，是目前英语教师需要考虑的问题。
