在充分挖掘茂名本土丰富的文化资源和育人资源，落实课程思政育人理念、传承中华优秀文化、培育文化自信的要求下，新时代应用文写作课程须通过促进茂名本土文化和知识技能的融合、落实课程思政、丰富教学方法、优化教学评价等路径实现茂名本土文化融入应用文写作。
