关学思想在关中教育文化建设中的当代价值集中体现在培养了一批崇尚气节的关中志士，不断优化着陕西社科工作者的精神品格和治学作风，塑造和培育了当代关中人的精神风貌和文化性格、提升陕西人的综合素质和人文精神，对其进行研究在一定的程度上能够使这份珍贵的思想遗产焕发新的生命活力，继而为构建富裕陕西、和谐陕西、美丽陕西贡献力量。
